Bosnian classes for kids
Diaspora kids usually learn Bosnian three ways: at home with family, at a weekend or supplementary school run by the community, and with an app or tutor in between.
Weekend and supplementary schools
Many Bosnian communities in the US and Europe run weekend classes for children, often called dopunska nastava (supplementary teaching) in Europe. They are the best place for kids to meet other Bosnian kids, which matters as much as the lessons. Ask at your local Bosnian community center or association.
Tutors
A live tutor, in person or online, helps older kids who already speak some Bosnian practice conversation and reading.
At home, every day
Short daily practice keeps the language between classes. Bosanski kids mode is designed for under-7s with no reading required, and older kids use the regular app. Teachers and schools can also publish their own courses in the app; see teach on Bosanski.
