The usual answer to hvala is nema na čemu, literally "there is nothing to thank for". You will also hear molim, which does three jobs: please, you're welcome, and "pardon?" when someone did not catch what you said.
Saying thank you at the table
At a Bosnian table, thank you is also how you survive. Your host will keep offering more. dosta (enough) and ne mogu više (I can't eat any more) are the words that actually stop the food. Saying hvala with them keeps it polite.
